Wellbeing Workshop | How to Reduce Your Risk of Cancer

Did you know that up to 50% of all cancers are preventable?

This means that being diagnosed with cancer is not an inevitable consequence of ageing, even if you have a family history or genetic susceptibility for cancer.

10 years ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer, which was a great shock and disappointment to me because I thought I had a healthy diet and lifestyle. What I learned through my research at the time and subsequent nutrition studies helped me to understand just how much you can do to help yourself every single day.

If you’re worried about cancer, join me and local GP and Lifestyle Medicine Doctor Kate Staveley from @hexagonhealthuk for a practical and interactive wellbeing workshop on Thurs-day 25 April at The Old Court in Windsor, to learn what you can do to reduce your risk of cancer.

We’ll cover practical tips to enable you to create your own personal action plan that includes nutrition, exercise, sleep and lots more.

We’ll also be talking about what screening options are currently available and will be introducing a revolutionary new blood test that detects up to 70 different cancers.
