How to stop menopausal incontinence even if you ‘ve suffered for for years and nothing else you’ve tried has worked.
Incontinence is something that I’ve struggled with for years and had some REALLY embarrassing moments [more on that another time ?]
And not enough people talk about it! So I am…
Here are 3 easy ways to help you stop embarrassing moments.
1. Quit the caffeine
Caffeine is a known diuretic and will irritate your bladder. Instead switch your coffee for a delicious herbal tea such as turmeric tea. Turmeric is an anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory and a great way to help relax the bladder.
2. Don't go for a 'just in case wee'
Dashing out to go shopping and having a wee “just in case” is actually one of the worst things you can do. Forcing your bladder to work when it doesn’t need to causes additional stress, when in fact what it needs most is to relax.
3. Himalayan salt
Adding a teaspoon of Himalayan salt to your water bottle is a great way to add trace minerals and electrolytes to your body. Not only does it keep you hydrated but it stops water running “straight through you”.
