I’m Helen and I help professional menopausal women stop their menopause symptoms from disrupting their lives and careers so they can get back to feeling normal again.
When menopause symptoms struck me 7 years ago, I recognised the hot flushes and acute anxiety, but not the brain fog and disrupted sleep, which overnight left me feeling unable to perform in my senior marketing career and ultimately contributed to me being fired from that job.
Unable to take HRT due to my history of breast cancer, I started researching natural alternatives and eventually retrained in nutrition so that I could help other women avoid the unfortunate consequences of menopause that I experienced.
I provide personalised nutrition and lifestyle programmes and advice on a one-to-one basis.

What is Nutritional Therapy?
Nutritional Therapy is the application of nutrition and lifestyle medicine sciences in the promotion of health, peak performance and individual care.
I specialise in supporting professional women looking for relief from menopausal symptoms such as hot flushes, night sweats, brain fog, weight gain, disrupted sleep, anxiety, depression and lack of energy.
I also work with men and women living with chronic conditions such as diabetes, obesity, heart disease and IBS-type digestive complaints.
My nutrition and lifestyle programmes are completely personalised, based on your goals, specific symptoms and unique health history. I work with you to create a tailor-made plan of realistic food and lifestyle changes that fit into your lifestyle, progressing at a pace to suit you. Although I favour a food-first approach, I sometimes recommend supplements and private functional tests.
Nutritional Therapy is not a replacement for medical advice and I frequently work alongside medical professionals to support your wellbeing.
If you would like a review of your diet to ensure you’re eating as healthily as possible, and don’t have any specific symptoms or health concerns, this one-off 60-minute nutrition ‘MOT’ is for you. Based on a 3-day food diary that you complete in advance, during the session we will discuss my analysis and recommendations, agree any changes and email the report to you afterwards.

If you’re confused about dietary supplements, unsure whether they’re making a difference, or even whether you need them. Or if you’re taking prescription medication and want to be sure that your supplements are safe and not going to cause any interactions, this review is for you. Many of us waste money on buying supplements we hope will magically fix our symptoms. Whilst there is no substitute for good nutrition, this one-off, 60-minute review will take the guesswork out of your supplements and ensure they’re safe to take.
