My hot flushes ? started 6 years ago when I was at my senior marketing job. I’d suddenly find myself as red as a beetroot for no apparent reason
It was so embarrassing and made me feel like a nervous idiot. Not great when you’re managing a team!
I knew it was menopause related but had no idea what to do about it to stop it happening.
But just grinning and bearing it wasn’t an option because it was affecting literally everything I was doing. Both at home and work.
It didn't take me long to figure out that the amount of coffee and spicy food I was eating was making the hot flushes 10 x worse.
Once I'd cut back on the coffee and spicy food, it made a huge difference.
I took up regular yoga ?♀️ and meditation and now I rarely suffer a hot moment.
What about hot flushes ?bothers you the most?
