Meet Gillian, who is now on a new path for her future.
When I first met Gillian last November, she was overweight, feeling low, had to walk down the stairs one step at a time, and wasn’t really confident leaving the house because of her digestive issues. She had been told she had thyroid problems and was at the stage of not really knowing what to do or who to believe.
Today, she’s lost over 1 stone and is moving towards her next weight loss goal; she is running up and down the stairs; she feels happy and her digestive system is working properly.
So what has Gillian done in the past 4 months of working together to turn her life around?
? She’s cut down on the sugary & starchy carbs that have played havoc with her blood sugar levels and that drive weight gain and hormonal imbalances.
? She’s now eating protein at every meal, to keep her feeling full and give her the energy she needs to get her through her busy days.
? She’s stopped counting calories, restricting her food intake, missing meals, snacking and avoiding fat!
? She’s eating a wider range of colourful vegetables and low sugar fruits to help her gut and get her digestion moving.
? She’s focused on slowing down to eat her meals mindfully, to help her digestion.
