When I met Anne she was unhappy with her physical health. She was overweight and had tried every which way to lose it. She felt tired and had frequent energy slumps in the afternoon. Her joints were killing her and she was not sleeping well.
Anne had had enough and needed a new approach.
So what did we do to help her lose weight, improve her energy, reduce her joint pain and increase the quality of her sleep?
❤️ We cut down on the sugary & starchy carbs that play havoc with blood sugar levels and stop you from losing weight.
❤️ We ensured she was eating protein at every meal, to provide sufficient energy to get her through her busy days AND create the building blocks for a good night's sleep.
❤️ We added in healthy fats to keep her feeling satisfied and ensure her brain and hormones were nourished and her joints were oiled.
❤️ We increased the number and range of different anti-inflammatory plant foods to 30 per week.
❤️ We worked on mindful eating to help her digestion, plus finding time for herself to relax, unwind and de-stress.
